Docket No. 50-482: Request for Additional Time to Implement Qualified Reviewer Program Requirements Associated to Proposed Changes to Technical Specifications 6.8.2b and 6.8.2d.
Gentlemen:
This letter requests a change to the implementation time associated to the 4
referenced license amendment request.
The proposed changes to Technical Specifications 6.8.2b and 6.8.2d were submitted in the reference.
In that submittal Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) requested that,
...the effective date for the change be 90 days af ter NRC issuance of the amendment to allow for implementation and distribution of procedures governing the Qualified Reviewer Program."
Since that submittal, WCNOC has reevaluated the implementation requirements.
As a result of this evaluation, WCNOC requests that the effective date for the change be modified to 120' days after NRC issuance of the amendment.
This is additional time ' will allow for complete and thorough implementation.
