Dear Mr. Stolz:
l This letter identifies a proposed schedule for responding to the information requested in reference (1) regarding NUREG-0737, Item II.B.3, Post Accident Sampling System.
The August 24, 1982 letter provided additional detailed design and operating criteria for the sampling system and analytical l
equipment used for post accident analysis of the reactor coolant and containment atmosphere.
l Currently, we are working with the BWR Owner's Group to address those items that are generic to the post-accident i
sampling system developed by General Electric for BWR plants.

An additional month will be required to develop a plant specific response.
Therefore, we propose a January 31, 1983 submittal date for responding to Item II.B.3 of NUREG-0737.
