The unit began the month shutdown for the refueling outage and remained shutdown the entire month. The following significant work was completed during the month: ,

+ Completed i1 Emergency Diesel Generator modifications to increase the electrical {

output capacity.

+ Saltwater IIcaders 11 and 12 were a.anantled and new piping installation was completed.

+ Completed Nickel Plating Modification to the RCS Pressurizer Heater Sleeves.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE March 1994 The unit began the month at 100% reactor power. Reactor power was reduced to 98.5% on March 18,1994, following the loss of the plant computer. The unit was returned to 100% reactor power (870 MWe) at 1830 and remained there through the end of the month.
