U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Submission of Revision 42 of the Security Plan Pursuant to 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.54(p), we are submitting four copies of Revision 42 to the Monticello Security Plan.
Revision 42 provides the ability to declassify Vital Areas during plant maintenance outages if the equipment in the Vital Area is no longer required to be operable. Specific requirements for declassification are included in.the revision. Revision 42 does not decrease the effectiveness of the Security Plan. Only the revised pages are being submitted.
This revision contains safeguards Information as identified by the' Commission-in 20 CFR Part 73, Section 73.21.
This submittal should not be made available for inspection and shoul,d not be olaced i.D the oublic document room.
