Dear Mr. Check:
I have received your letter of September 9, 1982, denying my request for additional time within which to comment on the CRBR FES Supplement.
While the Federal Register notice stated that no extension of the comment deadline was contemplated, it is also hopefully true that the Commission did not contemplate its failure to provide a copy of the Supplement to requesters until 2 working days before the expiration of the comment period.
I mailed comments on September 9, 1982 containing those comments which I was able to form in the extremely limited time given to me. I still have more o say.
In your letter, you state that my request for more time has been denied on the basis of the July 30, 1982 Federal Register notice. In that case, the Commission is clearly not
" endeavor [ed] to comply with requests for extensions of time up to 15 days", as set forth in 10 CFR S51.25.
Kindly give me the courtesy of additional time so that I will have the opportunity of commenting adequately.
