Docket No. 50-382 (WATERFORD STEAM ELECTRIC STATION)
UNIT 3)
)
JOINT INTERVENORS REQUEST THE RIGHT TO CROSS EXAMINE Pursuant to the filing of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff of September 1, 1982 which included the affidavits of Donald Perotti (NRC) and John Benton and Albert Lookabaugh (FEMA),
Joint Intervenors feel that the bases of their conclusions must be the subject of cross-examination.
The decision of the ASLB concerning the admissibility of the testimony of Dr. Samuel Epstein ruled out the option of phone-link or television hookup in order to conduct cross-examination. Therefore, Joint Intervenors request a hearing date be set at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal for this purpose.
