Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Unit Nos.1 & 2; Docket Nos. 50-317 & 50 318 Calvert Cliffs Security Plan Validated Summary of Changes, Revision 29 Calvert Cliffs Security Plan. Revision 30 On December 15, 1993, Revision 29 of the Calvert Cliffs Security Plan was submitted under the provision of 10 CFR 50.54(p). Upon NRC review, areas of concern were identified in the submission which ultimately resulted in Special Inspection 50-317/94-12; 50-318/94 12. During the Special Inspection Exit Meeting, the Inspectors specified those portions of Revision 29 which were being rejected.
Several actions have been taken as a result of the rejection of portions of Revision 29. Specifically, Calvert Cliffs Security Plan, Revision 29, was reviewed by an independent evaluator on March 7,1994. Based on this review, specific portion:. of the Security Plan are being revised to clarify Code requirements.
Revision 29, Summary of Changes, was subjected to the independent evaluator review as well as peer review to ensure all information contained in the Summary was correct and valid.
The validated Summary is attached.
Questionable areas of Revision 29, identified during the Special Inspection Exit, have been returned to the original wording contained in Revision 28 or revised to reflect applicable Code requirements or Review Guideline recommendations. Revision 30 with appropriate changes is attached.
The changes made under Revision 30 do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan and are being submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
