Generic Letter 90-06, Resolution of Generic Issue 70, " Power-Operated Relief Valve and Block Valve Reliability," and Generic Issue 94," Additional Low-Temperature Overpressure Protections for Light-Water Reactors," Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(f), dated June 25,1990 In Reference (a), Baltimore Gas and Electric Company requested changes to the Calvert Cliffs Units Nos.1 and 2 Technical Specifications in response to Generic Letter 904)6 (Reference b). The NRC Staff has requested that we send updated, marked-up Technical Specification pages for Reference (a) reflecting Amendments that have been approved since its September 1,1992 submittal.
Only two license amendments have been approved since September 1,1992 which affect the marked-up Technical Specif: cation pages in Reference (a). Unit 1 Amendment 185 approved new Low Temperature Overpressure Protection (LTOP) controls us[ng a varipble LTOP system. This resulted in the MPT Enable temperature increasing from 355 F to 365 F, the high pressure safety injection pump throttled flow rate limit increasing from 200 gpm to 210 gpm, and changing the power operated relief valve single setpoint to a variable setpoint. Unit 2 Amendment 162 added a requirement for the operable high pressure safety injection pump handswitch. The pages affected by these Amendments are contained in Attachments 1 and 2.
