This letter is in response to IE Bulletin No. 79-09, forwarded to us on April 14, 1979, concerning failures of GE type 14 AK-2 circuit breakers in safety related systems.
There are no GE type AK-2 circuit breekers in use or planned for use in safety related systems at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.
