Response to I & E Bulletin No. 79-04 In response to Reference (b), Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation hereby submits the following infor=ation relative to swing check valves manufactured by the Velan Engineering Corporation.
We have completed a survey to determine if 3, 4 or 6 inch diameter swing check valves, manufactured by Velan, are currently in use at Vermont Yankee. Based on information available we have con-cluded that none of the subject valves are in use in Seismic Category I piping system.
