SUMMARY

I FEBRUARY 1994 i

I RB9WNS FERRY 1 Unit 1 remains shutdown on administrative hold to resolve various 4

TVA and NRC concerns.

Unit 1 has been on administrative hold 3

since June 1, 1985.

As a result, TVA considers that accrual of reporting hours is suspended since the unit has a maximum i

dependable capacity of 0 MWe.

Accordingly, TVA does not consider cumulative reporting period hours for the period beginning i

June 1, 1985, when calculating the operating status variables.

BROWNS FERRY 2 1

Unit 2 operated continuously dtiring the month of February at a capacity factor of 97.3 percent and generated 712,380 megawatt i

hours gross electrical power.

Unit 2 reduced power twice during the reporting period:

(1) to approximately 50 percent beginning 3

a on February 18, 1994, to perform scheduled maintenance activities; and (2) to approximately 70 percent beginning on j

February 21, 1994, to perform control rod adjustments.

As of February 28, 1994, Unit 2 has operated continuously for 270 days since returning to service in early June 1993 following the
