REVISION TO LICENSE AMENDMENT APPLICATION STI/AOT EXTENSIONS FOR ISOLATION ACTUATION INSTRUMENTATION FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-57 HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 This letter submits a revised application for amendment to Appendix A of Facility Operating License NPF-57 for the Hope Creek Generating Station.
The original amendment application was submitted on October 18, 1993 and proposed to extend the surveillance test intervals (STIs) and allowed out-of-service times (AOTs) for the isolation actuation instrumentation.
As a result of discussions with the NRC staff, we are modifying our original amendment request by removing the single asterisk footnote on Page 3/4 3-9; this is in addition to removing the double asterisk footnote which was already proposed for removal in our original amendment application.
This modification does not affect the justification for the proposed changes nor impact our conclusion that the proposed changes do not involve a significant hazards consideration pursuant to 10CFR50.92.
The attachment to this letter contains a revised marked up Technical Specification page which reflects the modification.
All other pages are unaffected and remain as proposed in the original amendment application.
Upon NRC approval, please issue a license amendment which will be effective upon issuance and shall be implemented within 60 daye of issuance.
This latitude enables completion of appropriate procedural modifications necessary to implement the proposed changes.
