The following is provided in response to NRC questions discussed by telephone on November 9,1978 with Alabama Power Company concerning the propoeed overpressurization mitigating system for the Farley Nuclear Plant. Two (2) marked-up drawings showing preliminary design of part of the subject system are attached as requested.

Alabama Power Company investigated the feasibility of increasing l
the frequency of RHR relief valve testing. In place verification of relief valve set point will be conducted on alternate. refueling outages.
