This letter constitues a follow-up to our final report concerning the subject deficiency.
Report QA-1727, dated April 29, 1982, stated thatmodifications resulting from a Control Rod Drive system re-analysis would be completed by December 31, 1982. Because of Stop Work Orders 80-14, 82-01, and the NRC Immediate Action Letter of December 24, 1980, work on the Control Rod Drive System has not been performed. CG&E is continuing to review the adequacy of present construction by Reactor Controls, Inc. A follow-up report will be submitted by March 15, 1983.
We trust the above will be found acceptable as a follow-up report concerning the subject deficiency.
