CORRECTIONS TO ATTACHMENTS CONFORMING AMENDMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH (1) ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT 36 REGARDING LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST 13-040 APPROVING TRANSFER OF LICENSES RELATING TO VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT UNITS 3 AND 4, (2) ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS 125 AND 124 REGARDING LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST 17-042, AND (3) ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS 148 AND 147 REGARDING LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST 18-011

Dear Mr. Whitley:

The purpose of this letter is for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to issue corrections to Combined Licenses (COL) Nos. NPF-91 and NPF-92 for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Units 3 and 4, respectively.

On June 24, 2015, the NRC issued Amendment No. 36 to COL Nos. NPF-91 and NPF-92. The amendment package (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)

Accession No. ML15169A065) included attachments with change pages for each license. The attachments were issued with editorial errors which the NRC introduced inadvertently. The footnote on page one of each COL cited an incorrect date of June 24, 2014; the correct date is June 24, 2015. Correction of this error does not change any of the conclusions made by the staff in the safety evaluation for Amendment 36. The NRC attempted to correct this error in letter dated August 25, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15230A281). The attachment to the August 25, 2015 letter for COL No. NPF-91 was correct, but the attachment for COL No.

NPF-92 still contained the incorrect date. The supplemental attachment to Amendment 36 for COL No. NPF-92 is included with this letter and can be found under ADAMS Accession No. ML20064E572.

On May 31, 2018, the NRC issued Amendments 125 and 124 to COL Nos. NPF-91 and NPF-92, respectively. Again, the amendment package (ADAMS Accession No. ML18106A626) included attachments with change pages for each license, and the attachments were issued with editorial errors which the NRC introduced inadvertently. The errors were located in Table 3.5-5, Area Radiation Monitors, of Appendix C of each COL. This table should have contained the headers, Equipment List and Equipment No., but these headers were not included. Correction of these errors does not change any of the conclusions made by the staff in the safety evaluation for Amendments 125 and 124. The supplemental attachments to Amendment 125 for NPF-91 and Amendment 124 for NPF-92 are included with this letter and can be found under ADAMS Accession Nos. ML20064E612 and ML20064E628.

On November 22, 2017, the NRC issued Amendments 100 and 99 to COL Nos. NPF-91 and NPF-92, respectively. The amendment package (ADAMS Accession No. ML17284A066) included attachments with change pages for each license. These changes included revisions to functions 18, 20, and 21 listed in Table 3.3.8-1, Engineered Safeguards Actuation System Instrumentation. Function 18 was changed to add the descriptor Lower Narrow Range, and

B. Whitley Functions 20 and 21 descriptors were changed from Low to Low 2. These changes were omitted in subsequent license amendments. Namely, Amendments 118 and 117 to COL Nos.

NPF-91 and NPF-92, respectively, issued on March 29, 2018 (ADAMS Accession No. ML18075A094) and again in Amendments 148 and 147 to COL Nos. NPF-91 and NPF-92, respectively, issued on November 13, 2018 (ADAMS Accession No. ML18296A412).

Correction of these errors does not change any of the conclusions made by the staff in the safety evaluations for Amendments 118/117 and 148/147. The supplemental attachments to Amendments 148 and 147 for NPF-91 and NPF-92, respectively, are included with this letter and can be found under ADAMS Accession Nos. ML20064E668 and ML20064E680.
