Fuel handling was completed on October 1.
This was followed I
by core verification and Control Rod Drive (CRD) friction l
testing. In vessel ISI on the CRD and feedwater nozzles 'and t
spargers was also successfully completed during-this report I
period, Reinsta11ation of in vessel hardware vas completed

and the reactor vessel head was in place on October 12.
All testing associated with the reactor vessel hydrostatic test was completed on October ik, and start-up was begun on October 17. The Unit was returned to service-late on October.18 and reached its==v4==

a 3-hour load reduction to 788 We was required to maintain vacuum following the tripping of a recombiner mechanical compressor. A load reduction to h50 We to reset the control-rod pattern was begun late on October 27. The Unit was:
