6 Academy St.
Cambridge, NY, 12816 Email: kquinn03@nycap.rr.com General Comment No, no, and no. The transfer of the license to Holtec for decomissioning of Indian Point would be a disaster.
Because it's privately held, Holtec lacks the transparency needed for the public and regulators to monitor its actions. Because it is unqualified, it is likely to make mistakes which will impact our regions for decades if not centuries to come. And because it is undercapitalized, it will declare bankruptcy before it is finished and walk away from the project saddling NYS taxpayers with the burden. Do not allow the transfer of the license from Entergy to Holtec. Thank you.
