REVISION 26a TO THE PALISADES SECURITY PLAN Attached are one original and three copies of Revision 26a to the Palisades Security Plan.
It provides-a total revision of Appendix F of the Plan which describes temporary security changes and compensatory measures made necessary by a modification to the Palisades Security Building, replacement of the Plant Steam Generators, condensers and related equipment, and other' outage related projects.
This revision also - provides additional information requested in Nuclear Regulatory Commission correspondence to Consumers Power Company dated July 23, 1990 pertaining to Revision 26 of the Palisades Security Plan submitted to the NRC on July 2, 1990.
These temporary security changes are being.made under.the guidance of Chapter 10 of the Palisades Security Plan titled "Special Security Measures During Construction Operations". This revision serves as notification of these changes.
Because the security revisions-described in the attachment are temporarily (effective only during construction activities), and in -lieu of temporary revising the main body of the security plan, Consumers -Power has chosen to include the revisions in the form of'an appendix. Sections of the appendix may contradict statements contained in the. main body of the security plan.
In such cases, the statements within the appendix:shall take_ precedent.
Consumers Power Company requests the attachment to this letter be withheld from public disclosure since it contains information which is exempt from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR73.21(C).
