Followingithe recent inservice inspection of the Unit-2 steam generators, twenty-nine tubes were' plugged for the first time.

The percentage of tubes

plugged is'2.15% on' steam generator 21. The percentage of.tubos plugged is 4.52% on steam generator 22.

A summary is attached.

This information will be expanded upon in the ' Inservice Inspection Report for J'

Unit 2 which will be submitted within.90 days of the etid of the current refueling outage. Also Table 4.3-14 of the Prairie Island Updated Safety j*

LAnalysis Report will.be updated in the next revision.

All of the steam generator tube plugs susceptible to near term primary water stress corrosion cracking have now been removed and replaced in boti, 4.t 1 t

and Unit 2:per the. requirements of NRC Bulletin 89-01.

Six plugs were removed due to susceptibility to primary water stress corrosion cracking. All of these plugs were required to be removed by j

NRC Bulletin =89-01.

The tubes were replugged with Alloy 690 Combustion Engineering mechanical (rolled) tube plugs.

Plug Removal: 23 plugs removed and replaced.

Eighteen tubes were plugged for thinning at the cold leg tube support-plates.

No other abnormal new indications were found.

Tube Plue Removal:

Twenty three plugs were removed due to susceptibility to primary water L

stress corrosion cracking. All of these plugs were required to be removed by NRC Bulletin 89-01.

-The tubes were replugged with Alloy 690 Combustion Engineering mechanical (rolled) tube plugs.
