Please refer to your Docket No. 50-289 SP (Rc-start), in the matter of !!ctropolitan Edison Conpany (Three ? tile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1).
The group entitled Friends and Family of TMI is a non-profit, incorporated association supporting nucicar energy in general, and the Three Mile Island Nuc1 car Station in particular.
It currently has 452 citizen members, most of whom live in Pennsylvania. Employees of the General Public Utilities Company and their subsidiary organizations, including the Metropolitan Edison Conpany, are not eligible for nembership.
Friends and Family of 'DlI requests that we he allot.ted time to make an oral presentation to the Conmission at its November 9 necting in the !!arrisburg Area, for the purposes of encouraging the Commission to lift' the effectiveness of two 1979 orders directing that T!!I-I remain in a cold shutdown position.
If that arrangement is not possible, we request that we be allotted three ninutes at the public necting to nake statements to the same effect.
