Peach Bottom Unit 2 - Inservice Inspections

Dear Mr. Haynes:
In accordance with the referenced Technical Specifications, Inservice Inspections were completed on Unit 2 during the February 20 to July 2,1982 Refueling Outage. Enclosed are three copies of the Inservice Inspection Report which summarizes the examinations performed.
Several indications (lack of penetration, linear, and rounded) were identified as a result of these examinations and their resolutions are con-tained in Attachment 2 of the report, " Summary of Indications."
The ISI examination report has been reviewed by the PORC, the PECo Senior Engineer - ISI Group, and the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company Code Inspector. The results of this review indicate that the ISI in-spection requirements have been met satisfactorily.
In addition to the In-service Inspection Report, a detailed data package has been assembled, which supports this examination. This. package is retained by Philadelphia Electric Company, and is available for review.
