This letter constitutes a final report concerning the subject condition initially reported to the Commission under the requirements of 10CFR50.55(e).
As stated in our previous report,,A-1855, dated July 8, 1982, CG6E Nonconformance Report (NR) //0-NPD-82-2140-E was generated which noted that motor aperated Anchor-Darling valves with anti-rotational devices were subject to operational failure if the set screw holding the stem collar in place should lossen.
The CG6E Nuclear Production Department has dispositioned the afotementioned NR to stake the set screws of all safety related motor operated Anchor Darling valves with anti-rotational devices. All necessary work will be accomplished by December 31, 1982.
We trust the above will be found acceptable as a final report under 10CFR50.55(e).
