INITIATION OF SITE PREPARATION ACTIVITIES As you are aware, on August 17, 1982, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued an order granting the Clinch River Breeder Reactor Plant Project's request under 10 CFR 50.12 to begin site preparation activities. We anticipate beginning tree harvesting on the site on September 3, 1982.

Site clearing and excavation work is now scheduled to begin on September 20, 1982, under the tenns of a c6ntract signed on August 20, 1982, with Perini Corporation.
