Limerick Generating Station Meteorological Data for 1980 Weather Tower Number 1
Dear Mr. Schwencer:
Enclosed are five (5) copies of the joint frequency distributions of wind direction and speed by atmospheric stability clasc for 1980.
Also enclosed is one magnetic tape of meteorological data from Limerick Weather Tower No. I and the Satellite Weather Tower. As required by Regulatory Guide 1.70, Section 2.3.3 this ma terial represents the most recent one-year period of record currently available.
p[
The data on the tape are hour-by-hour listings of hourly-averaged parameters and are in the format required by the NRC for FSAR submittals e
as described by Regulatory Guide 1.23.
The tape characteristics are as f ollows:

In our le tter dated Augus t 7,1981 to D. G. Eisenhut, the NRC was p
provided with two magnetic tapes containing data for the periods f rom 1972 through 1976 for Tower 1 and 1972 through 1973 for Tower 2 for comparison. These two transmittals totaling three tapes satisfy the hourly-averaged data requirements of Regulatory Guide 1.70, Section 2.3.3.
Very truly yours, 0 ' b.
