Docket, Hearing
Subject:
[External_Sender] Indian Point Date:
Tuesday, February 18, 2020 3:27:07 AM Holtec has a criminal record and should not be allowed to do business in New York.
They, themselves, manufacturethe casks they want to use for high level radioactivewaste storage. The casks have thin walls and are inferiorto thicker walled casks used abroad. Quick and cheap is how they have done business. There is no reason to think it will be any different at Indian Point.
Decommissioning Indian Point is not business as usual.Decommissioning is a complicated process that will affect the long term health and safety of the Hudson River Valley and the lives of 20 million people who live and work in the area surrounding the reactors.
Please have NYState be the lead agency. We need safety to be our first objective when decommissioning this Nuclear site. So many lives are @ risk.
Thank you, Ramona Harragin PO Box 643 Goshen, NY 10924
