We have received your letter of August 6, 1982 informing us that the NRC is conducting an antitrust analysis of the Commonwealth Edison Company operating license application for the Byron 1 nuclear unit.
Your specific items of inquiry and our responses follow:

Information identifying for the year 1981 or most recent year available your wholesale customers, generation capacity (MW),
peak load (MW), sources of purchased power, and total miles of transmission lines, by voltage.
Soyland Power Cooperative is a generation and transmission cooperative comprised o-1 15 member distribution cooperatives. Our members purchase power from investor-owned utilities through wholesale power contracts administered by Soyland.
A list of our member cooperatives, their source of purchased power, and their 1981 MW peak demand is attached.
(2) lias your electric system sought participation in the Byron /Braidwood or Carroll County nuclear units and, if so, what has been Commonwealth's response? Please supply any relevant documents.
