)

Station Inservice Testing Program Plan, Revision 6 Submittal" Gentlemen:

The Nebraska Public Power District submitted Revision 6 of the Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS)

I Inservice Testing Program Plan in the above reference in response to NRC Generic Letter No.

89-04. Changes have recently been made to some pages of Revision 6 of the Cooper Nuclear Station Inservice Testing Plan. The revised pages to Revision 6 of the Cooper Nuclear Station Inservice Testing Program Plan are attached to include the January 1994 addenda. This addenda incorporates relief requests recently granted by the Ccmmission, equipment #

.1ges brought about by plant modifications, and additional changes as discussed in the attachment.

i 1

In addition, this addenda contains previously approved Relief Requests RV-17, RV-20, and RV-23 which have been revised such that they require re-review and approval. Also, Relief Request RV-45 was revised as a result of the Safety Evaluation received from the NRC via letter from NRC to G. R. Ilorn, dated April 7,1993. The revised RV-45 was submitted via letter NSD930791, from G. R. Horn to NRC, dated July 6,1993, which included a commitment to include Relief Request RV-45 in the next IST Prognuu addende. Thus, the revised _ Relief Request RV-45 is being submitted via this addenda and reads the same as the RV-45 which was submitted via the July 6,1993 letter, with the exception of minor cos.netic changes.

Five riew relief requests have been added to this addenda: RV-58, RV-59, RV-60, RV-61, and RV-62. Relief Requests RV-58, RV-61, and RV-62 require approval. Relief Request RV-59 does not require approval since it is a non-Code class item. Relief Request RV-60 is pre-approved by meeting GL 89-04, Position 6 requirements.

The District requests review and approval of Relief Requests RV-17, RV-20, RV-23, RV-45, RV-58, RV-61, and RV-62 by May 16,1994. If there are any questions, or you require additional information, please contact this office.
