MOTION BY NECNP FOR LEAVE TO FILE RESPONSE TO APPLICANTS' REPLY TO NECNP'S SUPPLEMENTAL FILING ON EMERGENCY PLANNING On July 23, 1982, at the Board's direction, NECNP submitted a Supplemental Filing on Emergency Contentions to the Board.
The Applicants filed a Reply to NECNP's submittal on August 2, 1982.
NECNP requests permission to answer the Applicants' Reply with the brief Response which accompanies this Motion.
We regret that the strenuous demands of other cases, coupled with staff shortages during summer vacations, have delayed the filing of this Response.
Receipt of this Response will not interfere with any schedules in this proceeding, and it will not prejudice the parties involved.
The filing is relatively brief, but provides important argument and clarification of NECNP's contentions which will assist the Board in reaching its decision.
Moreover, this is the first opportunity O$Koffoy443 31 PDR
