Dear Mr. Denton:

Enclosed herewith are sixty (60) copies of the revised Shoreham Emergency Plan which was submitted to you by SNRC-568, dated May 27, 1981, and later revised by SNRC 656, dated January ll, 1982.

This plan responds to items identified in your Safety Evalu-ation Report (SER), NUREG-0420 Supplement 1. to this letter provides a cross reference between your SER and our revised sections.

Also attached are ten (10) copies of the Training Manual and ten (10) copies of the Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures.

Two (2) copies of these two documents are being forwarded to the Regional Administrator, Region I.

Furthermore, in responding to your SER items, we have re-evaluated the schedule for the Prompt Notification System submitted to you in SNRC-603, dated August 20, 1981.

We have installed the system and are undergoing testing presently.

In reference to your open items on Letters of Agreement, it is our plan to update, or certify as correct, all the 2.greements approxi-mately three months prior to fuel load.

This is to insure each party's latest thoughts in the area of emergency planning.

Should you or your staff have questions, we would be pleased to l
