NUCLEAR PROJECT N0. 1 EQUIPMENT ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION, BAW-10082 In WNP-1 FSAR Sections 1.7, 3.10 and 3.11 we incorporate into the FSAR by reference Babcock & Wilcox Topical Report BAW-10082, " Qualification of Safety Related Instrument and Control Systems".

As a result of the impact of 10CFR50.49 (to be publisted) on the qualification requirements for equipment in mild environments, we expect that changes may be necessary to this report.

We are informing you of these potential changes at this time to aid in your planning for the most beneficial use of your resources.
