Enclosed are the preliminary license application form NRC-39 8, " Personal Qualification Statement - License", and form NRC-396, " Certification of Medical Examination" for each of the Unit 1 RO i i candidates. A final evaluation of the candidates will be made by our staff-prior to the examination date. However, I do certify that these candidates have sound judgement, experience and training necessary to be safe and competent operators.
