As we have discussed with you previously, Attachment 1 to this letter is the recently' completed comparison study of the two GE Boiling Water Reactor designs currently _
under review by the USNRC. The study was conducted to compare the Advanced Boiling Water Reactor (ABWR) and Simplified Boiling 'Nater Reactor (SBWR).
Standard Safety Analysis Reports to determine where the design, philosophy or.
analysis methods are identical or similar. The purpose of this study is to assist the review of the SBWR SSAR by identifying these similarities and indicate which sections contain significant differences.
