Reference 1 transmitted the Callaway 1 pump and valve test program and promised to submit the Wolf Creek program at a later date.
Reference 2 modified Reference 1 to incorporate changes agreed to with the NRC.
Transmitted herewith is the pump and valve test program for Wolf Creek Generating Station. The Wolf Creek pump and valve program is the same as Callaway Unit 1 transmitted by References 1 and 2 except for that portion of the Essential Service Water System which is site specific.
Tne program was developed in accordance with the ASME Code Section IX, Subsections IWP and IWV,1977 Edition through the Summer 1978 Addenda.
Attached to the pump and valve program is a supplemental report which identifies the differences between the 1980 Edition and the 1977 Edition through the Summer 1978 Addenda. The program is not affected by the changes in the code and therefore it can be stated that the pump and valve program, as submitted, complies with the 1980 Edition of the ASME Code Section XI, Subsections IWP and IWV.
Further, all containment penetrations comply with 10CFR50, Appendix J and all exceptions comply with ANSI N271-1976.
Appendix A identifies the pump relief requests and Appendix B identifies the valve relief requests for those cases where verbatim compliance with the code cannot be achieved. These relief requests are identified in the remarks column of the pump and valve program.
