Pipeline Road Hurst, Texas 76053 Re:
Texas Utilities Generating Co., et al.
(Comanche Peak Station Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2), Docket Nos.
50-445, 50-446
Dear Marshall:
1 As you know, the Board has scheduled evidentiary hearings commencing March 9, 1982 tt, address CFUR Contentions 1-4, 6 and 7.
Accordingly, I would like to bring to your atitention s
Interrogatories 45-3 through 83-3 (concerning Contention!4) of Applicants' Third Set of Interrogatories to CFUR which were the subject of a Board Order, dated July 28, 1981.
In that' Order the Board directed CFUR "to file responsive'ahswers to such interrogatories forthwith."
In view 6f our August, 1981 agreement.to postpone discovery on Contentions that were not scheduled for the recently completed hearings, Applicants did not pursue this Poard Order.
However, in view of the expedited schedule for the second round of hearings I would request that CFUR now respond to those interrogatories so that Applicants can seek (and CFUR can respond l
to) additional discovery on Contention 4, i'f necessary, prior to the Board's January 22, 1982 cut-off for completing' discovery l
on Contentions scheduled for the March hearings.
Since 1
