Gentlemen:
Upon review of the hearing transcript for August 4 and 5 containing the County's cross examination of the LILCO and Staff witnesses on SC Contention 16 -- ATWS, and in light of the Board's ruling to grant LILCO's motion to strike the majority of Mr. Minor's pre-filed direct testimony on behalf of the County on SC Contention 16, the County has decided to withdraw what little remains of Mr. Minor's testimony on that subject.
Accordingly, Suffolk County will not be submitting direct testimony on SC Contention 16 when the hearing resumes on August 24, 1982.
