Thic is the first interim report on the subject reportable condition.
The final report will be submitted on or before March 25, 1981.
Descriotion of Dericiency TVA General LConstructica Specificction No. G-32 for Bolt inchors Set in Hardened Con =reto requires qualificatica tests te be performed on wedco tolt expansion cnchors (hereincrter referred to as anchors) before their initial usc.
The quclification tests on Dawl-Stud anchors cenufsetured by the Rawlplug Company were performed in -
1978.
71e tort results were acceptable, Lnd the anchors were qualified.
In recent qualification tests for another betnd of anchors, all ci cs of P.cul-Stud anchors were cl. 3 tested for cc pSrison with another brand.
All sites of Kawl-Stud anchors c cocded the gunlificction requirements except the one-inch, Uhich develo;cd only 75 porcent of the required ultirete tencile ccr.tcity.
