By letter of June 9,1993, Mr. Charles A. Newman submitted your affidavit 7
dated June 8, 1993. By letter of June 23, 1993, we informed you of our

conclusion that, with the exception of limited portions of four documents, the U
documents submitted in your affidavit did not meet the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.790(a)(4).
In a letter of July 7,1993, Mr. Newman responded on your behalf to our letter E
of June 23, 1993, and stated that you did not challenge the staff's determination. Mr. Newman also provided, as requested, non-proprietary M
versions of the four documents where blanks indicated the information that had D.
been deleted by you.
By letter dated July 20, 1993, we informed you that we kE..
did not object to the deletions of portions of these documents you had h
determined to be proprietary and consequently deleted.

Upon further review of the non-proprietary versions you sent us we determined h:
that you had deleted certain names and/or signatures of individuals which do M
not meet the requirements of 10 CFR 2.790(b)(3). Therefore, we have concluded E
that the signature block or names of individuals or company contained in the

Due to the fact that these documents are being requested under the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C., Section 552, the information determined by the NRC as not containing proprietary information nor constituting an invasion of personal privacy will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) 15 days af ter the date of this letter.
If you do not agree with our determinations, you have 15 days, from the date of this letter, to provide detailed technical i
