In conformance with the Comission's policy on notification of the Comission j and the Licensing Boards of new, relevant, and material information, this ,

memorandum calls attention to the document-discussed below.

In the matter of Georgia Power Company (GPC), et al., Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 1 and Unit 2, regarding the License Amendment (transfer to Southern Nuclear), Mr. Michael D. Kohn, Counsel to Petitioner, submitted .

" Additional Information Relevant to Open Discovery Matters" to the Licensing Board on April 1, 1993. The April 1 letter forwarded a March 30, 1993, letter. <

from the Department of Justice closing, at this time, the criminal investigation of GPC concerning misrepresentations made to the NRC regarding the Plant Vogtle diesel generator.

This information is being brought to the attention of the Commission, the Licensing Board, and All Parties as information which may be relevant and material to issues pending before the Comission and Licensing' Board.
