This letter constitutes an interim report concerning the subject deficiency, initially reported to Mr. E. R. Schweibinz of the NBC under the requirments of 10CFR50.55(e).
The CG&E Quality Assurance Department has identified two (2) areas of concern internal to Class lE Essential panels containing Reactor Protection Systen (RPS) and/or Neutron Monitoring cabling.

CG&E has identified the vendor related discrepancies to General Electric Co. and has requested in writing the corrective action to be taken or just-ification that none is required.
OG&E Quality Confirmation Program Task VI has revised the appropriate procedure to include the inspection forall field cables internal to all panels containing Class lE, RPS, or Neutron Monitoring cables. This inspection will verify cable separation in accordance with the design requirenents fran the terminal block up until the cable reaches its first designated route point in a tray or it becanes enclosed in conduit. This iten is expected to be canpleted by Decmber 1,1982, at which time a final report will be subnitted.
