This letter is to acknowledge the receipt and review of Revision 12 to the Comanche Peak Steam Clectric Station (CPSES) Radiological Emergency Response Plan that was sent to this office by letter dated September 28, 1990. We have reviewed Revision 12, and have determined that it is acceptable and does not degrade the effectiveness of your emergency planning for CPSES.

Revision 12 includes, among other issues, changes in emergency plan terminology, the interactions between the emergency plan and.the security plan, the titles and locations of emergency responders, the capabilities of the medical support group, the basis for the protective action recommendations, the equipment and process used for calculating offsite doses, the authorization

. requirements for initial re-entry, and the responsibilities for maintaining the current level of emergency preparedness.
