Gentlemen:
Thank you for your September 24, 1990 letter which provided your response
to our August 23, 1990 letter transmitting Inspection Reports Nos. 50-373/90009;
50-374/90012. Our ' letter' requested that you provide the basis for your
confidence in an individual involved in falsification of documents pertaining
.to the verification of the line-up of valves associated with a January 17,
1987 local leak rate test at'the LaSalle County Station. Your response
provided a description of how the individual's subsequent performance was
monitored and your assessment that this performance was good. We, therefore,
have no f urther questions on this matter.
