Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Commonwealth Edison Company License No. DPR-30 i
Based on the inspection conducted on March 1-2, 1979, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as noted below. This item is a deficiency.
10 CFR 20 Paragraph 20.203(c)2 states in part that each entrance or access point to a high radiation area shall be maintained locked except during periods when access to the area is required, with positive control over each individual entry.
Contrary to the above, on March 1, 1979, a high radiation gate on the northeast corner of Unit 2 turbine platform was found with inadequate positive control over entry.
