'l REGION I - ELDON BRUNNER ITEM FOR POSSIBLE USE IN DAILY REPORT News media have featured stories of deaths of cows and calves in recent weeks, with implications this may be related to the Three Mile Island Unit 2 incident. NRC on 5/20 obtained samples of milk, feed, grass, water and soil from the farm principally concerned.

Analyses are not yet complete. FDA and state agencies are aware.
