Phildelphia Electric Company (Linerick Generating Station, Units I and 2) r Receipt of Petition Under 10 CFR 2.206 1

Notice is hereby given that by petition dated July 2,1982, Robert J. Sugarnan -

on behalf of Del-Aware Unlimited has requested that the Director of Nuclear Reactor i

Regulation suspend or revoke the Linerick construction pernits issued to Philadelphia Electric Company pending subnission of plans for an acceptable alternative supplemental water supply system to the Point Pleasant diversion project. Mr. Sugarnan also requests i

that the licensee be ordered not to take any steps to construct the Point Pleasant c

diversion.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.206, appropriate action will be taken on the petition within a reasonable time.

A copy of the request is available for inspection in the Comission's public document roca at 1717 11 Street, N.W. Washington, D.C.
