Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.740b and 2.741, CASE (Citizens Association for Sound ,'

Energy), Intervenor herein, hereby files this, its Twelfth Set of Interrogatories to Applicants and Requests to Produce.

Please answer the following interrogatories in the' manner set forth' herewith:

1. Each interrogatory should be answered fully in writing, under oath or affi nnation.
2. Each interrogatory or document response should include all pertinent infonnation known to Applicants, their officers, directors or employees, -

their agents , advisors or counsel . Employees is to be construed in the l broad sense of the word, including specifically Brown and Root, any .

consultants, sub-contractors, and anyone else performing work or services on behalf of the Applicants or their agents or sub-contractors.

3. Each doctanent provided should include a sworn statement of its authenticity.
4. Answer each interrogatory in the order in which it is asked, numbered .

to correspond to the num-er of the interrogatory. Do not combine answers. .

5. Identify the person providing each answer, response, or document.
6. These interrugatories and requests for documents shall be continuing in nature, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.740(e) and the directives of the Board.

Because of the time mstrictions under which we are presently operating, we mquest that supplementation be made on an expedited basis.

7. For each item supplied in response to a request for documents, ide'ntify it by the specific question number to which it is in response. If the item is excerpted from a document, identify it also by the name of the document. Please also provide the copies in the co rect order (rather ,

than in reverse order).

CASE'S INTERR0GATORIES TO APPLICANTS AND REQUESTS TO PRODUCE

1. Provide the names of the rebuttal witnesses Applicants plan to present in the September hearings. Include in your answer a brief summary of each witness' qualifications and what his or her testimony is expected to cover.
2. Are any of the rebuttal witnesses referenced in question 1 above purported to be experts on STRUDL (Structural Design Language)?
3. If t' eh answer to 2 is yes, for each witness who purports to be an expert on STRUDL, provide full and specific details mgarding such person's qualifications and training, including specific details of work background, 1

training (including when, where, and by whom trained, length of time train- .

ing occurred, etc.), and any other pertinent details.

4. Provide for inspection and copying all documents on which the rebuttal l

witnesses referenced in question 1 above will rely in their testimony.

5. CASE has been informed that some of our witnesses have had some problems in obtaining their personnel records from Comanche Peak. We may want to question Applicants' witnesses regarding some of the information in our witnesses' files during cross-examination of Applicants' rebuttal witnesses.

7. The March 8,1982, TUSI Office Memorandum (CASE Exhibit 659E) refers to a March 3, 1982, meeting. Provide for inspection and copying all documents (in the broad sense of the word, including but not limited to: internal memoranda, papers, letters, handwritten notes, etc.) which were used during  ;

the 3/3/82 meeting, referred to during the 3/3/82 meeting, used as the basis for conclusions drawn during the 3/3/82 ineeting or as the bas.is for conclusions contained in the 3/8/82 Office Memorandum.

8. The June 25, 1982 TUSI Office Memorandum (CASE Exhibit 659G) contains further clarification of the 3/8/82 Office Memorandum referenced in question 7 above. Provide for inspection and copying all documents (in th'e broad
