STATION UNITS #1 AND #2 (CPSES) l CASE'S MOTION FOR SUBPOENA Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.720(a), CASE (Citizens Association for Sound Energy),
Intervenor herein, hereby files this, its Motion for Subpoena.
We request that this subpoena be supplied to CASE by express mail at once, for service upon the following:
Jack Doyle 131 N. Main Beilingham, Massachusetts 02019 CASE witness Mark Walsh has indicated that Mr. Doyle has specific informa-tion pertinent to t'hese proceedings, and we wish to depose Mr. Doyle at:
10:00 A.M.
Thursday, August 19, 1982 at the offices of Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal 2500 S. Tower - Plaza of the Americas Dallas, Texas,
Mr. Doyle 'has refused to appear voluntarily for-deposition, and it is there-fohe necessary for a subpoena to be issued in order to take his deposition.-
We are checking on travel arrangements and will tender a cashier's check to Mr.
Doyle for fees for one day's attendance and his travel costs at the time we serve the supboena.

Mr. Doyle's testimony is expected to concern:
the failure of the Applicants to include proper analysis factors in their STRUDL (Structural Design Language) computer calculations on pipe supports, including personal observation of at f
least one support failure; problems with the use of Richmond Inserts (used to hang pipe supports); problems with constraint of pipe thermal growth; supports which due to' instability are actually non-supports; and other related areas.
We request that the subpoena request that Mr. Doyle bring with him all documents which pertain to the preceding and any other matters regarding his work at Comanche Peak.
It is CASE's belief that Mr. Doyle's testimony is of the utmost importance to these proceedings and is absolutely essential to a complete record in this We therefore request that the Board grant this subpoena so that.we nay case.
