Dear Mr. DeYoung:

In response to the letter of reference (a) and in acccrdance with the requirements of 10 CFR 2.205, Commonwealth Edison Company hereby provides a remittance in the amount of

$100,000 for the civil-penalties imposed in connection with the personnel overexposure of March 25, 1982.

Our response to the NRC's Inspection Report regarding this incident is being provided under i

separate cover.
