This submittal was made in order to comply with the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section XI: 1977 edition with Addenda through summer 1979 Subsequently, the NRC raised several questions concerning this report in its Palisades Inservice Test Program Review (PITPR) which were discussed in a conference call betvcen Consumers Power Company and the NRC staff on June 18, 1982.
Attached to this letter is a revised draft of the procedures for Inservice Testing of Plant Valves, EM-09-02, which is the result of the NRC's PITPR and the June 18, 1982 conference call.
Consumers Power Company requests that the NRC staff review this document and provide any questions or comments raised in order for us to complete a final draft of these procedures.
