Gentlemen:
This is the November 1978 progress report of Houston Lighting & Power Company.
During the month Houstion received the First Set of Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents from the Depa?tment of Justice.
Houston is in the process

of evaluatino those interrogatories preparatory to responding.
Houston ud the Department of Justice have agreed that Houston may respond to the Department's requests by December 22, 1978.
l Houston and the NRC Staff have agreed that the Staff i
may respond to Houston's Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents on December 1, 1978.
Also Houston is continuing to work informally with Brownsville, Justice, and the NRC Staff (and other parties upon request) on further discovery.
