The purpose of this modification is to revise the Statement of Work in

accordance with the contractor's proposal dated August 3,.1990 for Task 8.

and your proposal dated October 17, 1990 for the revisions of Tasks 6 and 7.

Accordingly, the contract is revised as follows:

Under Section C.1, Statement of Work, the following tasks are revised /added and incorporated by reference and made a part of this contract:

" Task 6 Delete the attendance of the four meetings listed below and also the reports associated with these meetings:

a.

ACRS Subcommittee Meeting November 90 b.

ACRS Full Committee Meeting December 90 c.

Commission Briefing May 1991 d,

Workshop September 90 Task 7 Only include a final report based only on staff comments on the draf t final report.

Due Date:

12/31/90 Add the following as Task 8:

Document the results of t' rial demonstrations and incorporate the findings into the draft final report.

a. Provide a draf t summary write-up of results of demonstrations for PRA and non-PRA process for determining critical components by December 14, 1990.

b. Deliver a Draf t Final Report to NRC by January 31, 1991.

c. NRC will provide comments to SAIC on the Draf t Final Report by February 8, 1991,

d. Deliver the Final Report to NRC by February 22, 1991.

The primary personnel for the above task 6 and the final report shall be Mr. Ernie Lofgren and Ms. Susan Cooper."

NOTE: The deletions from Tasks 6 and 7 approximately equal the costs of adding Task 8.

Per telephone conversation with Kay Moore, SAIC, and Deborah Boyd, NRC, the $2.00 dif ference was agreed upon to be omitted.

All other terms and conditions of the subject contract, including the contract reiling amount of $227,681.00, remain unchanged.
